The proposals will see the redevelopment of the former club site to provide 43 new apartments for social rent, comprising 16 one-bedroom and 27 two-bedroom homes, together with 35 on-site parking spaces, secure cycle storage and landscaped communal amenity space.
The development has been supported by Homes England funding, helping to bring forward much-needed new affordable housing on a previously developed site.
Careful consideration has been given to the design and layout of the scheme, responding to the site’s context and its relationship with White Moss Road and Rochdale Road. The proposals include a new vehicular access from White Moss Road, improved pedestrian connections and a sensitively landscaped setting.
At Chapter RE, we focus on identifying opportunities, unlocking challenging brownfield sites and working collaboratively with landowners, local authorities, Housing Associations and contractors to turn those opportunities into deliverable housing schemes.
